# 1. Introduction

**The Game Era of AI & AIDOL’s Vision**

For decades, technological advancements have focused on efficiency—automating labor, streamlining business processes, and boosting productivity. As artificial intelligence matures, we are entering a new paradigm known as the Game Era.\
In this phase, AI will go beyond commercial productivity to foster a society centered on play, creativity, and entertainment. With many labor-intensive tasks increasingly automated, humans can shift their focus to more interactive and imaginative pursuits.

**The Role of AIDOL in the Game Era**

AIDOL applies AI, blockchain, and emotional computing to establish a decentralized entertainment platform built around AI Idols—digital personas that perform, engage, and evolve in real time. Unlike traditional AI applications designed primarily for automation, AIDOL aims to democratize entertainment by enabling fans, creators, and investors to co-own and monetize these digital performers.\
By blending AI algorithms with Web3 principles, AIDOL provides a transparent and scalable environment where interactions, performances, and creative inputs are governed collectively.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://aidol.gitbook.io/aidol-docs/1.-introduction.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
